Most of the food we eat comes from small operations that work quietly, far from cameras and headlines. These farms are the backbone of American agriculture, yet many face challenges every year — land loss, rising costs, consolidation, labor shortages, and climate pressures.
We’re here to document their stories, one farm at a time.

Every month, we select a nominated farm or ranch to feature on our website and social channels.
Each feature includes:
- A written story
- Photographs of the land and work
- A look at their history and heritage
- What they grow or raise
- The challenges they face
- How people can support them
Over time, we’ll also develop special projects that help promote small farms directly — including product collaborations, events, and community support opportunities.
